About us
Babylonia is a small, home-based company, run by Ammerins and Steve Moss. We decided to start our own business in 2000, when our freelance work was starting to take over our lives and we hardly had time for our jobs anymore…
Because of the small scale, customers get a quick answer to their questions and can always ring up to check on a project's progress or drop in for a cup of coffee to check how a project is going.

Over the years we have translated books on every imaginable subject, from programming in C++ to giving birth with the help of a doula, and from manuals for marine paint to books on chrystal healing: if we don’t know about something, we make sure we contact someone who does or we visit museums, libraries and organisations until we do!
